In the world of software development, one of the most referred technologies is full-stack at the moment. HR professionals flood job search platforms with numerous open full-stack positions, which highly suggests its dominance across the whole IT industry.
In simple terms, a full-stack developer is an IT professional with comprehensive knowledge of both back-end (server-side development) and front-end (client-side development). Therefore, their responsibilities often span from planning to implementation, testing, and even operation. This makes them appear almost as a one-person army, and this versatility is exactly what makes them highly valuable to employers.
The concept of one expert handling all technological-related aspects is highly beneficial for small businesses, yet, large corporations are recognizing the potential of full-stack developers more and more. In cases, where a team faces problems in a particular area or requires substitution, a competent full-stack developer with a broad skill set can be a jolly-joker.
A senior full-stack developer with years of experience behind their back can create a product single-handedly. They have in-depth knowledge of both back-end and front-end technologies, along with version control systems, APIs, servers, applications, best security practices, algorithms, and UI design.
Besides being technical experts, they must have such soft skills, like high autonomy, strong problem-solving abilities, as well as an understanding of project management and to some extent, of DevOps.
The demand for full-stack developers is increasing due to their wide-ranging knowledge and versatility. You might find opportunities in smaller companies as a junior at first, where versatility is especially appreciated. A junior full-stack developer course also provides a solid ground for creating small websites as a freelancer. A junior developer is not yet expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of both back-end and front-end or to learn all coding languages. It is enough, if one is able to navigate both areas with understanding the needs of each side.
Májusban ismét elindult a Hello IT! for Women, ami egy kifejezetten nőknek szóló, ingyenes IT-kurzus a Green Fox közreműködésével. Idén már két kurzus közül választhattak a jelentkezők, és Csehországban is elindítottuk a programot. Habár a résztvevőknek augusztus végéig kell befejezni a 150+ órás programot, van olyan elszánt hallgatónk, aki máris a végére ért. Mi volt a titka? Milyen céllal vágott bele a programba? Erről mesél most nekünk!
Hiszünk abban, hogy naprakész tudás átadásával biztosíthatjuk hallgatóink versenyképességét a munkaerőpiacon. Ezért a képzés során néhány alkalommal vezető fejlesztők és elismert szakemberek is megosztják gyakorlatban szerzett tapasztalataikat hallgatóinkkal, köztük a Gen™ Senior Engineering Direktora, František Tröster is.
Az informatikai szektort érintő szakemberhiány a munkaerőpiac egyik legnagyobb kihívásává nőtte ki magát. Ebben a helyzetben egyre nagyobb jelentőséget kapnak a speciálisan vállalatra szabott megoldások. A corporate bootcamp kifejezetten a cég igényei alapján kidolgozott képzés, ami akár azonnal projektre állítható szakembereket biztosít.
Ezeket a kérdéseket jártuk körül Fachs Anitával, a Green Fox vállalati szolgáltatásokért felelős cégvezetőjével.
